 Dear students of the Summer Leadership Program:
Welcome to USC!
As dean of USC’s Marshall School of Business, I am so delighted to welcome all of you for the 2009 Summer Leadership Program at the Leventhal School of Accounting. You are here because you are part of an elite group of high school students who want to get a head start on a great education, and career, in finance and accounting.
The professors here at Leventhal and Marshall can provide you with that great education. During your stay here this week, you will get a sense not only of the opportunities in finance and accounting but also of the many wonderful opportunities for you here at USC. We hope you will consider returning to USC, whether at Marshall or Leventhal, for your college education.
In the meantime, have a great week, begin to build your own national network of business leaders and remember the USC motto: Fight On!
